The Old Republic was formed during the Galactic Constitution in the year 25,053 BBY during the Unification Wars, and allowed Coruscant to be the main capital in 25,000 BBY. Governed by the Old Republic Senate, the Old Republic with representatives from hundreds of star systems and planets, the Republic has been the center of peace and progress, a bright beacon in the darkness of outer space.

The Old Republic, led by a Supreme Chancellor, had a democratic government that was known to be one of the most civilized and advanced power in the known galaxy.

It is centered around the characters: Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Anakin Skywalker at the time of the Dark Reaper Project.

It was released for Xbox, on April 22 2003, and on the GameCube and PS2 on November 28, 2002. The Old Republic was the dominant galactic government that was ruled from its capital city-world of Coruscant, and has lasted for more than ten thousand years.
